Overview Of The Online Consult Process

Step 1

Select “Book Now”, Add Consultation to Cart and Pay Online using one of our secure payment gateways.

Step 2

Select your preferred timeslot for a Doctors Consultation.

Step 3

Receive a video link via Email and SMS. Fill in the pre-admission form and Consult with a Doctor.

Step 4

Prescription, sick note and medication voucher sent immediately via Email & SMS after the Consultation.

How It Works?

You can easily book a telehealth appointment with our doctors through the Docotela™ website. Simply select “Book Now”, Pay online, Book a time slot and receive an SMS/email for the video call. After your consultation, the Docotela™  Team will send your prescription, sick note and medication voucher via SMS and Email.

What We Cover

Telehealth is suitable for a wide range of conditions, including minor illnesses such as:
  • Common cold/influenza
  • Allergic rhinitis
  • Upper respiratory tract infections
  • Urinary tract infections (UTIs)
  • Candidiasis
  • Sexually transmitted infections (STI’s)
  • Gastroenteritis
  • Common skin conditions such as acne and dermatitis
  • Uncomplicated eye infections
  • Contraceptive management
  • Medical advice
  • Uncomplicated pain syndromes
  • PrEP and PEP

What We Don't Cover

The following conditions are not suitable for Telehealth consultations:
  • Medical emergencies
  • Patients, especially asthmatics, with shortness of breath, wheezing, tight chests
  • Trauma cases
  • Internal Ear infections
  • Scenarios requiring psychiatric assessment
  • Schedule 5 and above medication which carry a higher risk of adverse effects, dependency, or misuse.
  • High-risk pregnancies
  • Termination of pregnancy
  • Infants under 2 years of age
